ACUTONICS PAGE: Sound, Symbol & Energetic Integration
The body communicates in many languages.
Sometimes those signals appear as symptoms, tension, emotional patterns, or recurring life themes. Sometimes they emerge through dreams, symbolic imagery, or long-standing relational patterns that seem to repeat throughout our lives.
Sound and energetic approaches offer another way of listening.
Using planetary tuning forks, singing bowls, gong, and other resonant instruments, alongside therapeutic sound, contemplative practices, and symbolic inquiry, we work with the body as an integrated system rather than a collection of isolated symptoms. This approach draws on my training in Acutonics (acutonics.com), a sound-based healing method rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine and astrology. Traditional Chinese Medicine provides a language for understanding patterns of movement, balance, and relationship within this living system. Astrology offers another symbolic map, helping us recognize recurring themes, strengths, and challenges that often remain difficult to see from the inside.
These approaches are not intended to diagnose or replace medical or acupuncture treatment. Rather, they provide another way of understanding experience — helping people recognize patterns, restore balance, and develop a deeper relationship with themselves.
Whether we begin through psychotherapy, nervous system regulation, or energetic work, the intention remains the same: to cultivate greater awareness, embodiment, and participation in one's own life.
